THE FORGOTTEN ONE
The Forgotten Self
The Unseen Influence
What parts of yourself have you learned to overlook, ignore, or leave unexplored?
The Forgotten Self represents the aspects of your inner world that may have gone unrecognized, disconnected from your awareness, or pushed aside over time. These can include overlooked needs, unacknowledged feelings, old patterns, or parts of yourself you haven't yet learned to understand.
Think of the Forgotten Self as the unseen influence at your internal round table. Unlike the other Selves, which help you interpret your identity, understand your feelings, and navigate your choices, the Forgotten Self represents what may be influencing you without your full recognition.
Sometimes, we repeat patterns without understanding why. We react in ways that surprise us or find ourselves drawn to situations we can't quite explain. Exploring the Forgotten Self creates an opportunity to become curious about what might be beneath the surface.
The goal isn't to assume that something is wrong or uncover a hidden truth at every turn. It's to make room for the parts of your experience that may have been overlooked and consider how acknowledging them could change your understanding of yourself.
A Moment of Reflection
What if some of the things you struggle to understand about yourself are connected to parts of yourself you haven't fully acknowledged?
Take a moment to consider what you've pushed aside, what keeps returning, and what you might discover by giving those parts of yourself room to be seen.
